Iβm really tired of the enshitification of clothes. You used to be able to wear, wash, even tumble dry a tshirt for years before it wore out. Now they go out of shape after a single wash. I would happily pay for good quality if it existed, but the extra $ for expensive brands is paying only for the logo, not quality. Iβve had a comedic realisation this is what it will be for the rest of my life, I donβt see clothes quality going back to how it was. RIP my wardrobe forever. Welcome to the future - no world peace, flying cars or spaceships. Just shitty tshirts.
^ I am not the lone voice raging against this!
Itβs so noticeable. And itβs going to lead to a Sam Vines cycle of spending a lot on buying shitty clothes while still not having anything good to wear.
Unfortunately op shops will get worse with lower quality donations inevitably coming in and sewing fabric is affected too
I remember paying 30 bucks for a white tshirt. I spilt a drop of coffee on it and no matter what I did, I could not get it out.
Fuck that.
it's the caffeine, it sets when you wash it, it also fluoresces
Like sperm!
and they both give life!!
Wait... we didn't get hoverboards?!
