I just wanted to let everyone know I may not be technologically gifted like youse but I can crochet a hat and make really good sandwiches. Ok.

There is a secret to being technologically gifted. Read the instruction manuals. n/k

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Yeah but some things are better when they are physically shown in person.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 3 points 3 months ago

You're my homey and all...but 'youse'?

Oh baby, what is you doing......

Karaoke

The man is scared I'm gonna blow up his speakers and his hearing so he got out the old computer speakers.

I don't know him, bit were brothers deep down.

His fears are justified

More than one 'you' I think. Perfectly reasonable. We need this.

We should use youse because the English language would benefit from a plural you; it’s Austalian instead of the y’all the yanks invented, and ye has gone out of fashion.

[–] MeanElevator@aussie.zone 1 points 3 months ago

Sure, but no. You is fine depending on the context. No need to boganise it.

Feel free to say youse, but I will judge the fuck out of you for it.

I sit on interview panels and if I hear youse or 'haitch' instead of 'aitch' it's points off

I can make a good sandwich but not crochet a hat, so you’re one up on me.

[–] melbaboutown@aussie.zone 2 points 3 months ago

I can knit socks and make acceptable sandwiches but I’m not good at hats
