How does Stardew Valley work in co-op? Never tried it in multiplayer before.

I am not entirely sure, but I "stuffed up" my save by paying for a JojaMart membership.

I paid for the JojaMart membership and kind of regret it, because I feel like I betrayed the core ideas of the game.
