I think in some ways people say "OSR is dead" because new things are being added and it keeps growing. It's no longer a small, tight knit scene and so people want to declare it over, but what's really happened is that it's grown so much and in so many different ways that it's too big for just one label now

That's how I interpreted the article, or at least, that's how I see it
