Ford announced new EV truck starting at $39,000

Now the cheapest model starts at ~$63,000

Whatever they're doing, it's wrong.

I remember when the Federal tax break was renewed and Ford's response was to jack up prices the same amount. Fuck Ford. I've had two Ford trucks over the decades, Rangers for that that's worth. Never had a problem with them. Despite that, I will not be buying a Ford again in my life.

Is it possible that they pay fair wages?

I have little knowledge on the subject but considering the unions and the strikes, I'ma say unlikely.

The UAW just won historic wage increases. The strike was successful.

I think the problem is that the strike was even necessary.
