Just introduced Mr Smeg into the cleanse/tone/moisturise routine.

He was VERY thorough and seemed to enjoy himself.

i have only been cleansing and moisturising. What does a toner do?

[–] Sir_ListerOfSmeg@aussie.zone 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Technically you don't have to do it, but it helps get a deeper clean and allegedly helps restore the PH balance and preps the skin for moisturiser

thanks, i'll try it

If you wear make-up or work outside or work where there's a lot of dust and dirt or have oily skin then it's a good idea to use toner but if none of this apply to you then you really don't need to.

it's oily and dry at the same time. I guess that applies to me.

Then I would just apply it to the oily bit because it can dry out your skin. It's important to get one that's suited to your skin.

Thanks! Will do.

My baggy eyes are beyond repair, but I tell myself that my daily post-shower moisturise is helping somewhat

I need to get back into the whole self care business.

It's nice having a little routine
