Long story made short I have this low end Cyberpower UPS that the battery has finally given out. Normally I'd expect like most normal UPS' that they would use the bog standard size 12v SLA battery, 6" L x 2.5" W x 3.5" H. However this one uses a smaller size which is identical, but only 1" W.

Sadly when I try to find any kind of standardized size markings to try and shop around for a replacement, it seems like no such thing exists.

Any suggestions or help here? Sure I can buy another cheap UPS to replace this (which may still be a thing depending on how difficult it is to find a replacement battery) but I'd rather avoid that if only for e-waste concerns.

I have had good luck on Amazon searching “cyberpower battery for” then the model. Even if it’s not the exact one it tends to get me close. Sometimes it’s not obvious, then someone in the comments will mention it works with x thing!
