Where are my fellow C programmers? And those who prefer Basic ( qb64 and Gambas welcome too)?
I'm still hoping that this community grows here, but so far the only one I found for C is !c_lang@programming.dev (all the other programming languages seem to also have a community on programming.dev instance)
I don't find !c_lang@programming.dev in the list of All communities at Lemmy.one - how do I subscribe?
Atleast one person from your instance needs to subscribe to a community on another instance so that others can find it in the all communities list. If none have, you need to paste the real url into the search to find it.
So go to the search, choose "~~communities~~" "All" and type https://programming.dev/c/c_lang
Edit: sorry not communities, the search needs to be set to search "all". Edit 2: adding a pic:
This, but data scientists!
There's also !data_engineering@programming.dev , over at programming.dev, which is a software engineering/prorgramming/computer science focused instance.
How about !dataengineering@lemmy.ml ?
I took a look around over at programming.dev, but couldn't find a C-specific community. Although we do have these (semi-) related communities:
~~You can also request new communities in !community_request@programming.dev .~~ Oh man, I was totally wrong. Check out !c_lang@programming.dev !
Thanks! I have joined c_lang!
