Days are based of where the earth is facing during it's spin

Years are based on rotations around the sun

Seasons are based on which side of the earth is facing the sun or not

But months and weeks are just abstract concepts with nothing to compare it to

Months are pretty close to the Moon's orbital period. Weeks, though, are totally arbitrary.

If you consider a lunar month, weeks are phases: waxing crescent, waxing gibbous, waning gibbous, waning crescent.
