Steps to reproduce:

  1. Tap on your comment and choose to edit it
  2. Place the cursor somewhere in the text
  3. Tap a key on the software keyboard
  4. The cursor jumps to the end of the text

It's a huge issue to me. I'd imagine new comers would move to another lemmy after experiencing this.

mlem Version: 1.2 (847) iOS version: 17.3.1 iPhone SE

Thanks for your reply! See my edit of my original post for the additional information.

Also, it seems to happen with any key. (I initially reported it's the delete key.)

Does this happen on every comment you post, or just some? I’m not able to reproduce this either yet, unfortunately.

Every comment. It's on beehaw.org.

I'm posting from Japan. Thus the network latency can be large, although I don't know if that matters.
