Do you think it could get chaotic or confusing even if people get used to Fediverse? The concept can be understood but there will be multiple people with the same username from different instances.

discord survived for years with david#0001, david#0002, etc. I'm sure we'll soldier on

and email, it is literally the same: david@instance001.world, david@instance002.wtf, etc etc.
