It seems to me that most people here are from Reddit or looking for alternatives to Reddit. I dislike social media in general, but this is like — if I can call it this — a niche community on the internet. That appeals to me somehow. It would be nice to see who's here for the sake of Lemmy itself, like myself.

[Edit] An addition: I could be wrong about most people being from Reddit. I don't know that.

Oddly enough, though I saw Lemmy mentioned on several of my subs, the first one I saw it on was on r/WitchesVsPatriarchy. You wouldn't think.
