I've been looking for communities for people who make music. Have you found anything?
I've been searching for the same thing without too much luck so far. The Guitar community seems to be pretty active so far, but that's not my primary interest. There's a Drums community that I hope will take off. r/drums was one of my favorite reddit subs along with r/wearethemusicmakers. Hoping to see something similar here.
Oh yeah, I forgot about drums. I haven't searched for that yet.
Instead of trying each community one at a time I decided to make a list of ones to try at some point when things calm down.
I'm on vlemmy and noticed that some of the searches I made last night are starting to pop up in the results today so things are definitely working.
You're probably not interested in all of these but there is a wearethemusicmakers community in this list.
I used https://browse.feddit.de/ btw.

I've been doing something similar to index as much as I can of the music communities, but it seems to have been buried with recent postings (a good thing in my opinion). You can find my index of music communities I've found and have been updating here:

Nice. Thanks for the links.
I ended up making a new account on lemmy.studio so what I might do is search for all the ones in your list so they appear in the lemmy.studio communities.
Thanks for the list! I tried to search for Communities as well & ceated some electronic music-related Magazines over at fedia for anyone interested. Make sure to check kbin as well, people are just spread everywhere now unfortunately and there are federation issues
