The fleet did arrive on the 26th, you're either just lying or completely ignorant of history.

Learn to have some goddamn compassion for the trauma that started that day.

"Some believe 26 January commemorates the landing of the First Fleet, when convicts from England first set foot in Australia in 1788.

But the ships actually arrived at Sydney's Botany Bay around a week earlier, sometime between 18-20 January. They decided to shift further north after finding the bay unsuitable."

I'll take the apology now, that way you and Rudd can have appolagised to me for the wrongs you and your ancestors perpetuated upon my people.

The 26th was actually the day the fleet set ashore in Sydney Cove, a small bay in Sydney Harbour.

So a meaningless, hollow distinction. This is some real The Card Says Moops shit.

No they set shore then moved. Meaning any argument that its "invasion day" is wrong.

So moving the day means people will cry regardless about it because its what so many people do today.
