I might try a new Linux distro, Linux mint is boring. Any suggestions on what I should try? (Preferably not too hard I'm fairly new to Linux)
I don't know why that's a problem. I want stability and efficiency in my OS. It isn't like I use my computer for the OS, the OS is there to run software and entertainment and keep out of my way. Excitement hasn't been a requirement for me.
Personally, I use Fedora with KDE, but you could likely just install and switch window managers to KDE with your current Mint install. A fresh window manager can feel like a new OS.
It's not a problem, I just feel like switching. I will use KDE to see if it's good, thanks
Maybe consider really jazzing it up with KDE, Cairo and Compiz Fusion?
