I had a possum going wild outside the window earlier in the night, and was quite happy to imagine it stuck outside in the rain.

Mr Possum is the evil one. My poor apricot tree is slowly being eaten alive, and plans for pumpking growing on the shed roof have been thwarted by all the leaves being nibbled off any time they get to roof height. He and I also had a staring competition through the kitchen window last night, which I lost, so if he got soggy it's nothing less than he deserves.
