Ich verstehe noch nicht ganz, wie die Föderation funktioniert, aber anscheinend muss man seinem “Heimatlemmy” manchmal etwas über abgelegene Gemeinden „beibringen“. Verzeih das Englische, kopieren/einfügen aus einem anderen Kommentar:

The workaround we found over at lemmy.pt is pretty reliable:
Go to the Communities page on your home instance
In the search box, search for !community@server.domain so in this case !vienna@lemmy.world, with the exclamation mark at the front.
Wait like 10 seconds and search again for just the name of the community, so in this case vienna.
This seems to be a way to force your home lemmy to “learn” about the remote community at which point you can subscribe to it.
