One of those awful misogynistic old skool books that's pretty fun if you're in the right mood -- but then there's the most lukewarm ending! Why did I suffer through all that angst?! Where is my payoff?!

@Eve @lenoreo I still find them cathartic reads at times, though my tolerance is definitely not what it once was.

@willaful I have to be in a very specific headspace for them, for real.

And even then, it can be iffy whether I can finish them.
