Please check my post, I think everything I said is very valid, but I want this community to see it too, and help steer the discussion, I think reddit is doing this intentionally.

I don't think all of the comments are by some reddits grand scheme to alienate people from Lemmy (though some of them might be), but due to true confusion. When people are advertising Lemmy as a plug and play style alternative to reddit, it's understandable when users try it the first expecting a centralized site where everything is in the same place that they would feel lost. That's how I felt when I first came across Mastodon.
