Hello everyone!

I wanna start off by saying that I'm not sure if this is the correct subreddit for this, if not, please redirect me to the correct one. Ty

Quite a while ago, the "plug" on my ethernet cable snapped, constantly causing networking issues. (Im referring to the top of the cable that makes that click when you plug it jn. Now it just slides in doesn't stay in the port). I thought that I can't fix that, but then i realized that my uncle has a 3D Printer. I looked up some plug replacements and found some:

Would there be good replacements for the cable? The cable itself isn't unplugged often, since it goes into an unmanaged switch, and I can't replace the cable since it goes through walls in my house and is around 15m long.

Thanks in advance!

Those thingiverse models are for the clip that holds the plug into the socket, not the plug itself.

If you just need the clip then those should work fine, if the plug is actually broken then you'll need a new plug and crimp tool.
