I know hosting servers isn't cheap, it would be wonderful if there was a way users could contribute to the running costs in some way (e.g. buymeacoffee or Patreon). I certainly would like to :)

I think we'd rather not see this shut down though if we're seeing this as an actual alternative.

Good to know. Best thing about this Fediverse thing is we can browse the rest of it too. Not sure how that impacts posts from here though.
