Getting started

  • Need help on anything? From commuting and transportation to what school is best to enroll to? We have The HELP thread for that.

  • Have an event you want people to go to or just looking to be informed of any concerts or happenings? Check out the What To Do thread.

  • On mobile? Download Jerboa for Android or Mlem if you're using iOS.

  • Miss the wide old.reddit look on desktop? Install this Greasemonkey script. Or if you prefer Stylus, @teacherbuknoy has a script of his own.

  • For smileys/emoticons, type :ha to pull up the extensive list.

Salamat sa pag-setup nito! Surprisingly easy to use ang lemmy at parang mas high-quality yung conversations so far. Sana dumami pa ang mag-signup!

Ang downside lang dito sa Lemmy is account approval. Admins kasi in charge nun and not us so depende sa kung tulog sila or what, you can't post asap just yet when you sign up. That, and the founder and the predominant "red" tinge. Yari tayo kina Sara, lol.

Pero other than that, this is the best among the Reddit alternatives from what I've tried/seen. Meron din siya mobile app, pero obviously not as good as Relay/Sync/Apollo.

Mejo concerning nga yung political leaning ng mga founders 😬 Pero so far naman maraming instance options to balance it out. Problema lang mukha atang hindi siya designed for scale, kailangan talaga maraming instances

Pero so far sobrang mas OK ito sa Mastodon. Para siyang Hacker News quality pero mas maraming general interests
