Honestly, I think that mostly means we need more kbin instances. I'd start one myself, but I have no money and terrible internet.

yup. Fediverse is meant to be spread across multiple nodes rather than centralized on one instance.

I’ve been looking at setting one up but the guide hasn’t completed the fireawall part yet and that’s where I get a bit stuck 😂

I wanted to install either lemmy or /kbin today. Both want me to use docker. Both then run a second http-server and a second database which I already have running. It seems it will not be so easy to install one of them alongside all my other services on the server.
