Congrats on the bloom. The best way I've heard it said is that thoy thrive on neglect. Forget to water them for a week or two, good. Don't water them until the soil has completely dried out.

That advice is definitely valid for a lot of these plants, but it also killed a few of mine ๐Ÿ˜‚ I've had to learn to read the signs for each of my surviving plants lol
