iPhone 15 is almost here, and one of the biggest changes expected is the replacement of the Lightning connector with USB-C. We’ve heard before that at least some of the new models will support faster charging speeds, and now we have another source to corroborate that information. According to people familiar with the matter, iPhone 15 is rumored to support charging with up to 35W.

Apple is trying to find a way to get at least some iPhone 15 buyers to get new chargers from them. However, if it's limited to Pros, people most likely will already have an Apple branded 35W or higher charger from their Mac or iPad, which a Pro user is more likely to have.

They can't pull their old shenanigans anymore. They're not going to be making as much revenue off of their accessories now and will likely have to lean into their services to continue to make endless profit. Lightning cables will ofc still sell for older units, but not anymore for newer ones, trickling out in the next few years.

Id expect an Apple Music price increase soon.
