The change, which became effective in July and was first reported by The Wall Street Journal on Thursday, will create consistency in starting hourly pay across individual stores

So instead of raising wages for people making below a liveable wage, they are cutting salary. All while the US pays welfare for the Walmart employees that don't make enough to live. I guess they have to maintain that $3+ billion budget for advertising, because lord knows few people know about Walmart. Also have to maintain the disgusting wealth at the top so they can continue to ~~bribe~~ lobby gov't officials.

God damn, I wish we had a gov't that could stand up to corporations.
