Telegram is just actually superior in terms of features I don't get it.

It sends text to people. Even pictures or videos if needed. What more features would I need?

I don't know anyone that uses telegram. Whatsapp is just the standard, though many people have switched to Signal.

so you use InternetExplorer? Because it shows webpages, right?

[–] theKalash@feddit.ch 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It actually won't show many modern webpages properly anymore.

[–] Janis@feddit.de 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

right? and whatsapp wont show modern people anymore. even in the US the adoption rate is in decline.

Well, there you have your answer.

  1. WhatsApp’s popularity in Germany is far above average.
[–] Janis@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

and you think that is an argument for what? the least digital country in the EU. so you are with me on that one. LOL.

[–] theKalash@feddit.ch 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It's a really simple matter of practicality. I can either use whatsapp and talk to people or I can install telegram and send messages into the void, because no one fucking uses it.

[–] Janis@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

no. it isnt and you cant.

none of the next generation likes it. so stick with myspace as much as you want.

none of the next generation likes it.

That's great news. Found one more argument for whatsapp.

[–] Janis@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

well thats fine ofcourse ...making all previous pro whatsapp arguments kinda invalid.

"i wanna chat.but only with my bubble. because we are right. has always been lile that. why dont i understand what the kids say these days? why am i being ignored in the workplace? was i stubborn? i am a dinosaur? why am i so alone? why do my grandkids hate my point of view?" and so on....

[–] theKalash@feddit.ch 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I think you're doing quite a lot of projecting here.

[–] Janis@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

says the one who is not interested in talking to the next generation.lmfao. are you retarded?

[–] theKalash@feddit.ch 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

Seriously, what is your obsession to talk with talking to younger people? Maybe I'm just not a paedo like you?

Whatsapp is a phone number based chat app, for communicating with people you already know and have given your fucking phone number. Not a fucking causual chat app, not a dating app or what ever stupid thing you seem to use it for. It's literally just a fancy sms replacement.

And you probably shouldn't call people retarded when you yourself seem to have the IQ of 100 metres of dirtroad.

The biggest one for most people would be large files since you can't really do that on WhatsApp. WhatsApp images and video also get deleted after some time where as telegram don't

WhatsApp images and video also get deleted after some time

That's a feature that can be turned off.
