I have no idea how this place works or how this will show up. Every post I saw only had one pic posted. And I posted them in the body and not the URL link not sure if thats right or not. I guess I'll find out!

Anyways i wanted an FWAA with warm, neutral, and cool and figured why bother with 6000K XP-P when I can just put W1s in it.

I thought it would easily outthrow my XP-P FWAAs but that's not the case. 4000K XP-P actually throws farther than W1. 8600kcd to 7600kcd. It actually throws the same as the 3000K XP-P. Too bad you can't drive these XP-Ps more. Still a fun mod.

Ok hope someone finds this mildly interesting. Thanks for checking out my first post.

Does this thing have an app? Logging on each time is going to be annoying. Hopefully r/flashlight gets back to its glory someday.

Not sure if this has come up over on the sub before, but LynchNW recently released yet another Spyderco clip—the stubby. I’m completely happy with the MXG style, but this is probably the perfect one for those 53s for those of you into the classic Spyderco look!

So, unbeknownst to us this little dude climbed under our car and rode about 50 miles from work to our home. Once we parked he refused to come out, parkouring all through the engine compartment for over an hour. When the sun went down I decided to remove the floor to the engine compartment to cornor him.

The mission was a success and he was relocated to a foster home. To honor the light that help rescue the kitten I ordered an upgraded XHP 70.3 HD to swap in the TC20. I will report back with new beamshots in a few days.

I got it with the 21700, and I also bought a Vapcell m11 18350. I was looking for a small and very bright light, and that’s what I got!

This small thing has no problem lighting up the entire street. It’s like having car headlights in the palm of your hand.

With the 21700, the battery life is very good, and with the 18350, it’s a quarter of that, at 30 minutes on high (2000lm for 5 minutes then 1300lm) and 1h30 on medium (550lm). The light output appears to be the same with either battery, at least when fully charged. With the 18350, the light does dim at around 30% of battery.

I 3D printed caps for the 21700 tube so that I can store the 21700 battery inside its tube. It also works with the 18350 in its tube when I use the 21700.

The beam and tint are not too bad for me, it’s mostly white except for a greenish donut, but it’s uniform, so unless you are lighting white wall it’s not noticeable. Now it does have a low CRI, but that’s fine because it’s so bright!

But I may have to get another light for CRI… maybe a D4K MAO or an Anodized Ti Midnight Echo Mini Pineapple or a Maeerxu XT3 Anodized Sandblasted Ti… So many options!

Thank you all for your help in choosing a light.

Never shared my new Emisar with /r/flashlight, so I figured I'd share it here. (/u/mdavis3948)

I emailed my local government to ask about whether it is allowed to walk on the trails at night because the signage at one of the places I like to go during the day says that the trails are only open from sunrise to sunset, and it is apparently a county wide rule.

Browsing in AliExpress came across this Surefire 3P body in brass.

Since this have no led, those Kaidomain P6 TRI drop in led should fit?

219CT, XP-L HI or LH351A? Give me some ideas guys.

Emisar D4K x2, both 519a domed with boost driver, 4500k/5700k

Emisar D1v2 Osram W1

Love em all! The D1K has been getting the most use, such a great all-rounder. Beam is a nice middle-ground between throw/flood, and the 70.3 is a great balance of good color and high efficiency. Makes lots of pretty light and doesn't get too hot doin it!

Anyone have any ideas as to how we could get a BST going?

Time stamp photos and all that. It seems possible but there is going to be a learning curve for sure.

Hi All,

I recently built my first 2x S2+ triples with KD SST20 MCPCBs and Convoy 5A drivers. On one of them I noticed, when at 1%, 1 emitter is noticeably dimmer than the other 2. My second triple I changed the sense resistor to provide slightly more amps and that one is fine.

Anyone experienced this? Could it be a bad mcpcb, driver/level issue?
