This community is devoted to the respectful and reasoned criticism of Mozilla, the company behind Firefox Web Browser.

I want Firefox to succeed but, in my opinion, Mozilla is slowly killing it by trying to make it mainstream, leading to a net loss of long-time users. This community serves as a place where to show your disagreement with Mozilla and to point out flaws in Firefox development.

As the title say. I don't really understand why every post published here is immediately downvoted without further explanation or discussion. I think that if you like something you should be able to criticize it when necessary. It's pointless to idolize something at the point where you literally can't stand the reality. If you think that a post contains FUD or misinformation then please try to prove it.

What do you think about that? I'd like if under this post a nice discussion was created. I don't intend to start a sort of war or something like that, I'm really interested about your opinions.

Reasons why Mozilla VPN sucks - in a nutshell.

  • Price differences between Mull and Moz. Moz is more expensive and offers overall nothing new or even less.
  • Mullvad is longer in the business, trusted an an expert in the VPN field.
  • Less physical servers and depending on the region, overall slower.

Small overview of Scandals, questionable CEO decisions and my expertise on this topic with a open ended conclusion. Reason there is no absolute conclusion is that this gets updated + Mozilla respond to things.

I do not say Mozilla does everything wrong but there is a history that people often swipe under the carpet to make the Browser look better than it actually is to defend their argument using it over other Browsers.

The small article also mention and list some questionable political statements coming from Mozilla.
