Yeeeah... It's crazy how many quality of life features Misskey and Firefish have over Mastodon. I'm thinking about making the switch myself despite the big difference in UI.

To be fair, according to the article this project is less than a month old! I'm sure it will continue to improve.
This is my first year genuinely participating in a book challenge of any kind, though it isn't much of a challenge. My goal is 12 books by the end of the year, with the idea being to complete one book a month. It's just a way to motivate and ease myself back into reading without creating unnecessary pressure
Nice! Those keycaps are super cool. What are they?
This ain't "American poutine" by a mile. This is "airport poutine" lol
I wanted to be a veterinarian so badly. Once I found out about wolf sanctuaries, I wanted to be a "wolf veterinarian" lol
Wyverns aren't dragons? I thought the words were synonyms / interchangable ... (Note: I have never played Skyrim)
Please don't surrender your sick, elderly dog to a shelter. His quality of life will decrease there. The likelihood of him being adopted is extremely slim; what you will do is subject him to a confusing, stressful situation before he's euthanized. Assuming you've had him since he was a puppy, 13 years is a long time to have a stable home, only to suddenly be abandoned. Your shih tzu (and you) will likely cope better if an at-home euthanasia is performed for your cocker spaniel.
Yeah. Beehaw isn't on version 0.18 and Jerboa isn't compatible with anything below that version, so I figured that's why I went from no crashes to a bunch of 'em. I switched to Liftoff for now.
Lemmy is not a business or a corporation like Reddit, nor is it a Reddit replacement. It doesn't need to function identically — in fact, it shouldn't. Centralisation of communities / discussion / etc. is antithetical to the Fediverse.
The music is so fucking good in JSRF and JSR. I've had the tracks in playlists for years despite not touching JSRF since I was a kid with access to the OG Xbox. It's a shame it was never brought up to any other platform so I'm forced to emulate
Chuck looks (and sounds!) so sweet.
