This seems to be coaxial cable ISP. They are terrible

Wifi. 53ms jitter gave it away.

Wi-Fi

Perfect example of good bandwidth but terrible ping and jitter.

Upgrading to WiFi6 is on the cards…

It would be good to see how far I can push my ISP!

Wifi . I install Unifi systems in businesses, at home I have only a Technicolor router wifi 6 and get a gig on wifi.

The f*cking impressive part is that this is actually wifi. First experience with wifi 6, and it's literally blown my mind (U6+ and UDM as router)

With ping like that, wireless

[–] dopeytree@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Dude Im excited for you but I’m getting 12ms ping - 600Mbps DOWN - 500Mbps UP on [wifi 5] & the hardware cost £30 - TP-Link TL-WA1201 just hardwired 3x together via Ethernet for less than £100 😎

the ping and the jitter gave it away , i have this exact speed but on ethernet not wifi , the ping for me always has been at 6

I’d prefer a cable. It’s full duplex.

Yes i do, I'm just impressed by the speeds. I mean i know the latency, and in particular the jitter gives it away, but that speed is mindblowing for someone whos only had wifi 5 up untill this point
