Scientists at the US National Centers for Environmental Prediction said that the world's average temperature had reached 17.01C on 3 July, breaking the previous record of 16.92C that had stood since August 2016.

Not morons, greedy.

The message of "global warming is not real" is not sent by morons, it is sent by industrial groups who want to keep making a profit. They do have the marketing machinery to push this narrative. The "morons" have zero pushing power for any narrative.

Oh, lordy, please don't phrase it like that. Your heart is in the right place, but people won't hear such a direct attack on their way of life. Try to be encouraging and we may all benefit. Like they say, "Don't make 'perfect' the enemy of 'good'."

Example: I am not vegan. I'm not even vegetarian, but because I live with a vegetarian I don't eat much meat. When I do, my better half is kind about it, saying things like, "It's okay. I know you've really cut back on meat and that helps." Instead of making me angry, sentiment like that makes we want to cut down further.
