I just got an Archer A6 router, on the product page it says it has 4 gigabit lan ports but when I go to the routers status page after its booted up it says the wan port is running at 1000 and the lan ports are running at 100. My last router I had around 700mbps internet speed wired so I know the cabling is fine. Is there a setting or another reason why my router is capping the ports at 100mbps? I cant find anything in the settings capping this. The model I have is TP-link ac1200 (Archer A6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KJF5BS7

Probably a bad cable somewhere as long as the router, switch, and device are all Gigabit plug ports.

Every cable you plugged in on the LAN side is 100Mbs (assuming those ports are configured for auto negotiation). You either have 2 pair patch cables rather than 4 pair or you have a wiring problem in your home where all 8-conductors aren't being used. If you have a cheap Gigabit switch, try putting it on these cables and see what the link speed is on each cable and plug the switch into the LAN side of the router and see what that speed is. At the very least, the gigabit switch should show up as 1-gigabit link speed -- if it doesn't then your router has an issue assuming a good patch cable.
