I've downloaded some albums, like one from Freddie king. I use it over streaming, because I can discover new music Idk even know about it, and just being able to download old music. Another thing is having album for offline access.

You can pay for any streaming service that serves FLAC and rip that. Very easy to do for Tidal and Deezer for example.
I was never really a big music person. But, I’d be interested in making a list of albums/artists and putting together a collection at some point.
