I'd love to see r/techsupportgore, r/spicypillows, and r/redneckengineering
r/linux r/linuxquestions
I'll miss the breaking mom / broken mom communities
The community I use most and the only one I still visit reddit for is r/hockey. There are a couple of hockey communities here, but they aren't active enough for them to even show up in my home page.
Unfortunately they were very vocally against a blackout, and they seemed to think all the complaints against reddit were stupid/overblown. So I doubt the users will move here.
I miss starterpacks, Hydro homies and the steam deck subs. Some of these are set up but the communities arenβt very active yet
tiktokdrama and some of the snark subreddits I used to follow. i hate tiktok and don't watch it, but i love knowing what all the insane personalities are up to π
r/techno r/propertechno r/theoverload always on the lookout for new music recommendations, also tips for getting into Berghain.
r/snowboarding not so much in the off-season, but hopefully there will be something in the Fediverse when the season starts....
/r/theoverload is the def best electronic music sub imo. Hope we get something like that on Lemmy.
Marijuanaenthusiasts (about literal trees, since /r/trees was taken for weed talk) Backyardorchard Vegetablegardening Confessions (guilty pleasure)
TBH, none of them. Reddit has has a lot of time to make sure the communities have been culled to the most acceptable to reddit's advertisers. I don't want any of that.
Old recipes, colorized history, high strange, gonewild (they need a home too), and white people gifs. Those are the ones I have off the top of my head
