Hello, we are looking to get our daughter a phone to be able to contact us or our extended family when she wants. We cant do a smartphone, because she gets too screen addicted. So we were looking for a dumbphone which can basically only call or text. No apps or stores or anything. I've searched around have found a few, but they are all T9 typing. Nothing with a keyboard. we'd like her to have and work on a keyboard but I cant find anything like that. anything with a keyboard, usually is smart enough to have apps and then i have to constantly battle her exploring everything and getting into something she shouldn't and then figuring out a way to lock her out of that. shes extremely inquisitive and searches every menu and option and explores everything.

Did you check if Google Family Link allows you to lock smartphones down to a satisfactory degree?
