What would happen if some sort of rocket or satellite flew through this? Is that like some sort of gas cloud and there would be an explosion?

I'm sure it would be beautiful being that close to it, but no, it wouldn't explode. Most of this is just gas and dust, hydrogen to heavier elements. There is a gas cloud in the aquila constellation that has a huge amount of alcohol. It still wouldn't ignite without oxygen though. I remember reading about another gas cloud that has ethyl formate, which is the chemical responsibility for the flavor of raspberries, so it might taste delicious lol
