"Oh boy, I want to spontaneously play one of the games I have!"

Steam Update:

99% of the time I agree, but the new UI change from a few weeks ago has been pretty good on at least MacOS and I'll see how it works on Linux when I get near my desktop again.

It works great!

Everyone was losing their minds about the new UI, so I got hyped and updated Steam.... and I honestly can't tell the difference. Like, I'm thinking it was A/B testing and I'm in group B? I mean, it launches on the store page instead of the library page now, that's nice...

It actually works now, for the most part. Before the update, many things were obnoxiously slow to react on even very modern hardware.

That's what I'm most excited about, really.

Changed "ov" to "of" in the comment on line 132 for the in game music player.
Gems in inventory from 10 years ago are now split into stack by date and time acquired to maximize visibility in inventory.
Fixed but that allowed Popular sections "Sort by Date" option in the workshop to show dates older than current week.
Shuffled last played dates in library for games not played in over 5 years to see if anyone notices.
Added a 7000ms delay to logins so Jeff can slowly reduce the delay to appear busy.
Launching Half Life and Half Life 2 at the same time no longer causes an integer overflow for causing the number 1+2 to appear in the client.
Players with over 30 hours in the Necopara franchise who own the DLC will now receive a message from our experimental AI therapist.
Furry Hitler featured on Store page splash screen.
Fixed bug where spam friend request could be removed from notifications.

Players with over 30 hours in the Necopara
What about the guy who has had them open since they came out, uninterrupted? (+10k hours, iirc)

AI should not be exposed to such madness. I just wanted free therapy.

Are you finally going to let the Steam windows be managed by the window manager?

What? Just asking.

They introduced more bugs.
