Quoting wikipedia, "Calvin and Hobbes is a daily American comic strip created by cartoonist Bill Watterson that was syndicated from November 18, 1985 to December 31, 1995. Commonly cited as "the last great newspaper comic", Calvin and Hobbes has enjoyed broad and enduring popularity, influence, academic and philosophical interest”. This magazine celebrates this superb comic strip which is filled with imagination and humor. Official site: https://www.calvinandhobbes.com/about-calvin-and-hobbes/ DAILY POSTING INFO: The daily strips I post (I being the mod SpacemanSpiff), are posted on the (approximate) date they appeared 20 years ago (2023 = originally published in 1993). The date isn’t precise because the days of the week aren’t the same, so in order to post the Sunday strips on Sunday I need to adjust either forward or backward a few days depending on the year. STORY ARCS: If the currently running daily’s don’t have a story arc going, I like to supplement my daily posting with an arc chosen from anywhere in the strip’s entire library. I usually try to make the title fun as if you’re following a serial installment in an actual magazine. I’m always open to suggestions for improvement. Welcome! And I hope you enjoy! :)

Hi all! A few days ago a community member here made me aware that my daily posts weren’t showing up for them. I suspect they’re not the only ones. For a few weeks now I’ve seemingly encountered a bug in kbin that fails to post images properly. They show up for me after the error, but I suspect federation isn’t fully completed or some related issue at the time of posting.

I haven’t yet found a way around it, I believe there is a bug report for kbin open for this so others seem to have the same issue (not just me).

For now you can obviously follow me to be sure you see the posts, or perhaps check my post history to see them.

Hopefully it’s fixed soon! In short, I haven’t gone anywhere, the magazine isn’t empty!
