This may be off-topic, but please be kind.

I'm moving back to Ontario this month from the UK and will want to buy a mid-range TV (50" or so). Where do people go these days? There must be alternatives to Best Buy.

Got a 70 inch Samsung at Walmart for like 600usd. Super happy with it. Literally thousands of free internet channels. Had to augment my stand but it works.

I got a 50” tv for $50 by just constantly checking fb marketplace and lots of patience

Mine was from Bestbuy. Would definitely check Costco if close.

Last TVs we bought were ordered from Newegg, but they were smaller dumb panels. If you only care about the size and not other features, check Kijiji and other secondhand markets.

If you're in the Toronto area, Visions electronics has good deals sometimes.

Canada Computers sells TVs. Walmart sells mostly crappy TVs.
