Ah low-income housing. When I worked at an MSP, my company serviced two local companies that owned and/or managed low-income housing. One of them actually did well taking care of their properties. At least from what I could see. The other, less so. Even their offices looked liked it never left the 90s, aesthetically and maintenance-wise. Hated going to their offices and properties.
I am curious how a tenant's union works. Like do they all just refuse to sign new leases and pay rent until their demands are met? I'm pretty sure Kansas City and Missouri as a whole have limited protections for renters. So what's to stop the property manager from evicting all of them? Other than wanting the tenants' money, I mean.
