I'm feeling rather smug and justified telling my clients to keep files on a local server that they control rather than ~~"the cloud"~~ someone else's computer.

I'm not a big fan of monolithic cloud ecosystems myself. However, to be fair, it's like lambasting someone for being late to work because a deranged trucker blocked the only road they can take to work.
What level of traffic could cause this? Microsoft literally has their own cloud...
When you clone NQ-RARBG and they get the wrong IP address.....
"The impacted browser URL is onedrive.live.com. Access to the OneDrive service using the desktop client, a synchronization client or Office clients are not impacted," Microsoft said.
So, just the website then.
And that's only for the personal OneDrive service. Business accounts are "https://YourOrg-my.sharepoint.com" for OneDrive access.
Damn, this is actually kind of surprising.
