@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net
Already moved from #Firefox long back. But #Chromium based #Vivaldi is definitely not an option for me. I am happy with #Librewolf.

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net Besides that it's European (not Big Tech), is there any other reason which is convincing for us to make the switch to Vivaldi?

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net I’ve been using Vivaldi for 1-2 weeks now. I really enjoy it. What a fantastic browser 👍

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net

BYE Firefox, hello Vivaldi!

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net I've been using Vivaldi as my second browser for a few years now.

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net Been test-driving #vivaldi on #macOS and #Linux (I use #Arch BTW). On macOS it works very well, on Linux on the other hand ... it does not have as fluid feeling. It even somehow feels less "smooth" overall as #Firefox or #Chromium on Linux. Yes, I'm nitpicking, but it is what it is.

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net why I would switch from fully open source browser with independent engine to a closed on based on crapware chromium?

Maybe think about adopting servo/gecko?

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net Liking Vivaldi so far. 👍Quite a few improvements of Firefox.

QQ - how can I save an 80% view settign as default? Every time I open a new tab it resets to 100%.

@BonehouseWasps@mastodon.social

That's good to hear! :tony_happy:

Re: Zoom. Go to Settings > Webpages > Default Webpage Zoom and disable "Use Tab Zoom".

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net Amazing - thank you!

Can I be cheeky and ask one more. When I right click to "open link in new tab" is there a way I can stop the new tab from becoming the focus, so I stay on the tab I'm already on?

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net Do a PC one. I've d/l it and got it running but it is not importing my Firefox data.
