I can confirm, but looks like it happens in /r/technology, it didn't happened in /r/MurderedByWords.

/r/technology might just have stricter external URLs policies, mentioning to /r/RedditAlternatives was the way to go

Yes, r/technology removed my links to pixelfed instances, and they unremoved them after I messaged them.

Still shocking to me that /r/RedditAlternatives isn't just one big "USE LEMMY/PIEFED/MBIN" sticky post but on the other hand there are a lot of Fedi-resitant people there so maybe it's a good thing to give that illusion of choice.

Yeah I noticed my comments weren't getting any votes or replies so I tried opening them in Incognito mode and they didn't show up. So I had to censor the links like that.

r/technology seems really strict on these links
