Verlasse die US-Cloud-Anbieter und wechsle zur Open-Source-Lösung @nextcloud@mastodon.xyz zum Teilen, Speichern und Synchronisieren. Office-Dokumente kannst du mit dem optionalen @CollaboraOffice@mastodon.social gemeinsam bearbeiten. Nextcloud kannst du selbst betreiben. Einfacher ist es, für ein paar Euro einen europäischen Nextcloud-Hoster zu wählen - idealerweise inkl. Collabora.

@kuketzblog@social.tchncs.de @nextcloud@mastodon.xyz @CollaboraOffice@mastodon.social ich finde die Idee ja charmant. Aber ich bin Laie und habe über einige Zeit versucht nextcloud ohne Fehlermeldungen zum laufen zu bringen. Leider ist es noch mehr als ausbaufähig.

Ich versuche z.Z. ca. 400 GB von OneDrive Business auf eine Backup-Festplatte zu bekommenn ohne vorher auf den PC zu syncronisieren. Wegen Platzmangel dort und dem doppelten Zeitbedarf. Bis jetzt bin ich gescheitert. Ist halt blöd, wenn die Firma das vorgibt und ich nicht Admin bin. Wie bekommt man als Normaluser die UNC-Pfade raus? Dan könnte ich mal robocopy probieren.

Machen wir beim Klimabonus! Ein wichtiger Aspekt ist der Datenschutz, der damit gut erfüllt wird. Wir sind gerade im Audit mit der Viskonz GmbH, die nur Serverlösungen in Deutschland und der EU "akzeptiert".
