As long as they are marked bots. If not, we need to suss out if the domain is a generic platform or specifically made for bots, and if all or most of those are not marked bots, defederate the crap out of them.
Let's be clear, it's a matter of transparency. If someone never wants to hear from a bot, like one of the utilitarian ones, all they have to do is to filter away users that are marked bots.
But, if users are not marked bots but are actually bots, that should be grounds for a banning.
