IANAP, but as I understand it, local clusters will remain close together due to the stronger forces of attraction they have on each other. As these clusters constitute several galaxies, I assume groupings of atoms would also stick together.

Yep, there's a sweet spot where gravity overtakes the expansion due to inverse square law. And of course, atoms and molecules are held together with forces that are stronger than gravity - at those distances, at least

You can be fat without eating too much and it is okay to be fat.

For some people being fat is like being red-haired, just genetics and for others it might be caused by illness. In all cases, fat people still deserve respect.

I say this because stupid myths about and prejudice against fat people cause a lot of harm and even death.

So does being fat though,

Excess fat lives in your tissues and puts more strain on your body.

This is never good.

That is a myth - for many people, trying to lose weight is counter productive to living a healthy life.

Sometimes sick people are/get fat and sometimes being fat can strain the body. But trying to make your body thinner than it wants to be is also associated with strain on the body.

I am not trying to say, that fatness and health are totally unrelated, but the correlation is not as important as our culture makes it out to be.

This article explains it quite nicely.

There are such cases, yes. The vast majority of fat people I know personally however are fat because they sit at an office job all day while having KFC for lunch everyday. No matter how you spin it, this is extremely unhealthy.

An unhealthy lifestyle can cause you to get fat but being fat doesn't necessarily mean you live an unhealthy lifestyle.

The focus should be on the lifestyle and not on how people look.

Fat doesn't develop without being fed. You can't get fat if you use up the energy you eat. There might be unfavorable genetics but people are still fat because they ate more calories than they burn. Everything else is just a pathetic excuse.

While people shouldn't be shunned for being fat, it is always unhealthy. Stupid myths about HAES also cause a lot of harm and even death
