Some communities there are literally calling for the annihilation of Ukraine

edit: Since people are either willfully or otherwose are missing my point, this is a pro-russia, pro-fascist hate group, therefore we shouldn't give them the platform to spread their shit. this is not about me seeing their community or then causing issues accross other communities, it's about de-platforming fascists.

People should still have the right to see that content. If you don't like it then block it but defederating deprives other who want to see it.

why should fascists be given a platform to spread their ideas?

Everyone should be allowed to be given a Platform including Fascists. If you Defederate them they get looked in there Bubble and you reaffirm their believes, meaning that there aren't any people anymore to challenge their Believes. Which is just going to make them more extreme.

These are not people learning new ideas and sharing them. They know it's disinformation from the jump. Their aim is to trick you into believing they are genuine.

Even then I believe that their voice should be heard. But If they begin a call for Violence or repeated offenses against the Instances rules I would defederat them.

As it looks their on their way to do that tho.

I would rather wait until they actually do smth violating the rules, then act prematurely.
