Saying "Lemmy/Mbin/Piefed" is too long, just Lemmy is reductive, "Threadiverse" doesn't really roll off the tongue,we are only a subset of the Fediverse. What would you call us? Horrible names allowed (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

You still have the issue of needing to say what the acronym is for when people ask. There's a good reason why most brands aren't an acronym.

It's not really an acronym, just something that jokingly evolved from another joke.

By "decent", I just meant that this name is actually marketable. It wouldn't really mean anything.

I personally don't think we need a new name at all.
