Brand new Lemmy user, I thought I'd start putting up some of my recent projects!

This is my 5th painted fleet. One more to go and I'll have painted all the "original" factions for the game. So much varnishing...

This was my first attempt at slapchop and I don't think I went heavy enough on the grey.

Quick and dirty paint job in time for Thursday night Pathfinder game. Printed on Mars3. Sculpts by Artisan Guild.

I noticed a severe lack of undead among my minis. More skellies to follow.

Models are 3D printed on my Mars3 and designer by Artisan Guild.

I primarily paint with proper hobby paints, but I sometimes demonstrate craft paints (with a few key techniques to alter them) as a viable tool both for new painters to cheaply dip a tie in the hobby, and as tools for experienced painters to use in supplemental roles to lower costs. I also want to show off artists inks being useful as both stains and washes.

I am currently planning to do a Warhammer 40k Ultramarine in this style, as well as some Roman soldiers. I have several muscled Catachan-styled third party minis and am curious what color schemes for them people might be curius about, as well as other minis types or colors they would like to see?
